She received her Bachelor of Fine Arts at Kansas State University in Manhattan, Kansas. Kaley grew up in the countryside of Paola, Kansas where she spent her days picking up rocks looking for crawdads, playing in the mud and collecting fossils and other critters with her siblings. Kaley sees her art making process like her backyard adventures of her childhood. Still curiously fascinated by the great outdoors she uses her intuitive imagination, painterly marks, and organic forms to create an atmospheric environment that’s all her own.
